OUR MARKETING

For nearly 20 years we have been generating new clients for studios via four main initiatives; Media promotions, On-pack loyalty rewards, Company incentive reward schemes and more recently by being a major photographic supplier to the Gift Experience market. Our leads have historically had a conversion rate of lead to booking of 97% and studios usually enjoy sales averages in excess of £300. We currently generate in the region of £5M a year for our members excluding other incomes earned from our Photopod, Bump 2 Baby and My 1st Year divisions.

The promotions are either spend-related on-pack, retail offers, readers' offers within newspapers and magazines or photographic experiences purchased on line or in-store. All have one thing in common - a free service provided by yourselves for increased footfall to your studio.

Most promotions are either based around:

Free Family Portrait Session and Print (minimum size 5x7 in a presentation folder) - Worth a combined value of £50.

For Fresh most of the magazine and newspaper offers include a free session only, valued at £100. The session includes a style consultation, hair styling, make up, photo shoot and viewing.

In 2006 Click Group won the contract for family portraiture and makeovers with Activity Superstore, who are the UK’s largest retail re-seller of portrait experiences. These portrait packages are sold in high street retailers including Debenhams, WH Smiths, Argos and Boots. The consumer pays between £25 and £99 for various different portrait experiences and although the studio doesn’t receive any fees for the session these customers still have to pay the booking deposit and should be treated as a paying client. These sessions always include a free image which is usually a 10” X 8” for Click or an A4 for Fresh.

As well as Activity Superstore, The Click Group and Fresh supply photography experiences to: Days 2 Amaze, Buy a Gift, Virgin Experiences, Lastminute.com, treatme.net and into the blue. With these additional gift experience contracts we now enjoy our packages being sold in John Lewis and Harrods as well as online with Littlewoods.

Studio members have always enjoyed the simplicity of our offers and look forward to receiving their weekly Prospect Report sheet that arrives every Wednesday containing the previous week’s incoming new client referrals. Studios can also decide what geographic areas their new clients come from and how many per week they would like to have. Our promotions are clearly designed, simple to enter and sometimes have various filters in place to help deter the time wasters, such as, a refundable deposit of £20 or £30 for Fresh bookings.

In addition to the above major retailers both Click and Fresh packages will be sold online with these brands too.
